As part of ongoing consumer education efforts the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance announced an effort with GardenSMART television gardening program broadcast on local Public Broadcasting stations (PBS) and Create TV throughout the United States..

"We believe there is significant overlap in our audiences and target markets making a mutually beneficially effort well worth undertaking," explains Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI).   "There are millions of passionate gardeners, many who are older and retired, many who are educated and insurance buyers who we want to reach and educate."
