A national directory of Medicare insurance agencies has been launched by the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance.

"Increasing inquiries from insurance agents seeking to sell various Medicare insurance solutions prompted the creation of the directory," explained Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI).   "There was a need for a single resource where agents could find and connect with field marketing organizations and general agencies that support, train and appoint agents."

The Association is hosting the Medicare insurance agency directory on it's website where access is available to all insurance professionals at no charge.  "Our growing organization does not have a dues-paying membership," Slome noted.   The Association produces the national Medigap industry conference as well as maintains a national online directory of agents who market Medicare Supplement insurance along with other agent-oriented benefits including low-cost Errors and Omissions insurance.

"We are pleased to support the many Medicare agencies who seek to add to the number of agents and brokers they work with," Slome explained.   "The Association's website serves as a portal for information for both agents and consumers and the number of visitors has been steadily increasing."
