In July, Capitol Communicator reported on McCormick’s national search for a Director of Taco Relations and that lucky Director of TR has been found. As a storyteller, content creator, and taco connoisseur, Jo Luna, in photograph, has officially been chosen for the highly sought-after position of the Hunt Valley-based spice company’s resident consulting taco expert.

According to McCormick, Luna’s love of tacos is rooted in her Hispanic heritage and upbringing in the border town of El Paso, Texas; but has only grown as she’s traveled around the world, sharing her culture and cuisine with her diverse set of friends and YouTube channel subscribers.

As the Director of Taco Relations, Luna will interact directly with lots of experts — from creative to McCormick’s kitchens teams — to develop new and delicious recipes while connecting with fellow taco connoisseurs to discuss the latest flavor trends.

“I can’t express how excited I am for this opportunity to share my genuine love for tacos,” she says. “To me, there is no better way to form a connection than by sharing a meal. I am going to show the world just how amazing my heritage is, one taco at a time.”

Each episode will showcase conversations with thought leaders in flexible and single-use endoscopy. The podcast is part of Ambu’s SingleUseEndoscopy.com online learning center, which features articles, videos, webinars, continuing education courses, and other content geared to a wide-ranging audience of clinical professionals and healthcare executives.

New episodes, which will run about 20 minutes in length, will be released on the first Thursday of the month. “Endoscopy Insights” is hosted by Rob Terry, editorial manager for Ambu Inc. and a former business journalist well known to area communicators when he was with the Baltimore Business Journal and the Washington Business Journal.
