YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, NY ? April 3, 2009 ? Matthew Cossolotto, author of All The World?s A Podium, conducted a Podium Power workshop yesterday for an after-school girls empowerment program in Mount Vernon. Cossolotto donated his time and several copies of his book to the cause.

Cossolotto said this workshop fits into his overall ?Podium Power to the People? initiative for Westchester and beyond designed to help people turn stage fright into stage delight and speak their way to the peak.

?The ability to stand up and speak with confidence to audiences is a key leadership and success skill,? Cossolotto says. ?It?s a skill that all young people should begin to develop early in life. Being confident on the podium translates into building confidence and self-esteem in other aspects of life. I was delighted to have the opportunity to bring my Podium Power workshop to this group of young girls. I hope a small seed of self-confidence was planted that will grow much stronger throughout their school and professional careers.?
