Making decisions can be challenging at the best of times. But what happens when you need to make a difficult choice and you don’t know the answer, at least not yet?

Humm, which one should I buy? Tough decision. Shopping in Assam, India.
The etymology of decide is “to cut-off.” That means, by choosing A, you automatically cut off the choice of B.
Furthermore, if we dissect the anatomy  of a decision, it often breaks down as follows:
Option #1: A
Option #2: B
Option #3: A and B
Option #4: Neither A or B
With this in mind, how do you know what is the best decision for yourself when you know by deciding something, something has to give?
Go into your heart. Listen to its whispers. Silence the mind and be still, for a few moments, at least, if not longer. And then, ask yourself this quality question: What is the best decision out of love for myself?

What is the best decision out of love for myself?
What automatically happens is we think about what is truly important for ourselves, and remember to do what is best for us, coming from a higher place of self-love, rather than fear, guilt or resentment. While this can make decision-making easier, though not always, it most definitely puts your best interests at heart.
