First licensee of professional development programs for world-class consultants



REDWOOD SHORES, CA – February 12, 2013.
Leverage2Market Associates and Summit Consulting today announced that Linda Popky of Leverage2Market Associates has been certified to offer the workshops and seminars of noted Million Dollar Consultant Alan Weiss to consultants and small business people. Linda Popky is the first consultant worldwide to be certified to offer these programs.

Over the last 15 years, Dr. Weiss has offered dozens of workshops on various topics of interest to consultants, including marketing and growing a consulting practice, as well as specific consulting skills. Weiss's Private Roster Mentor Program has over one thousand graduates globally, with scores of individuals renewing for multiple terms. A conservative estimate, according to Weiss, is that graduates have generated over $660 million dollars in incremental revenue as a result of their program participation.

Last year, Linda Popky offered the Consulting Triple Play Workshop, which combined three core programs (How to Acquire Clients, Value-Based Fees, and How to Write a Proposal That's Accepted Every Time) into one full-day session, in the San Francisco Bay Area. The workshop was well-received, with attendees asking for follow-up sessions.

About the Workshops

Initially, Popky will offer two one-day workshops, The Art of the Referral and Sealing the Deal, in addition to the Consulting Triple Play. The first session of The Art of the Referral will be offered on May 29th in the Boston area, in conjunction with the Society of Professional Consultants. Sealing the Deal will be offered in the San Francisco Bay Area, in conjunction with Women in Consulting and IMC on June 11th.

The Art of the Referral teaches participants how to ask for and get the referrals they need to grow their business. Based on Alan Weiss's book Million Dollar Referrals, this single day focuses on creating Create ongoing, unsolicited referrals from existing clients as well as non-clients, comfortably and confidently, following up assertively on promised referrals, and using the proper language to convince referral sources to actively engage in the process. Sealing the Deal is a one-day workshop designed to help participants create and master the dramatic, action-oriented language that creates conceptual agreement with economic buyers. It focuses on the language, behavior, and beliefs required to move from preliminaries to project and from meetings to money.
