The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books takes place Saturday and Sunday, April 22nd and 23rd on the campus of USC

Marilyn Anderson, author of How to Live Like a MILLIONAIRE When You're a Million Short will be at Booth 933, which is hosted by the Book Publicists of Southern California.

Anderson's book is packed with all kinds of money-saving tips along with numerous stories revolving around her luxurious, but economical, true-life experiences.

Anderson says she has lived like a millionaire for over 20 years, although she's never been one. She has a beachside apartment, a sportscar, and designer clothes. The only thing she doesn't have is a job.

The author explains, "The strange thing is that most people I know have steady jobs with regular paychecks every month, and they never seem to have any money to do anything. Yet, I don't get a monthly paycheck – or sometimes any paycheck – and still I'm able to enjoy life, even the high life, all the time."

In How to Live Like a MILLIONAIRE When You're a Million Short, Anderson reveals the secrets of how she does it and how readers, can, too!  She shares ways to save thousands of dollars on entertainment, travel, shopping, fashion, health, beauty, home décor and more.

Each chapter has engaging anecdotes, practical tips and useful website links. Many of the tips include getting things for FREE, such as how to get your hair done at upscale salons for free, how to get designer clothes for free, and even how to spend six nights at a four-star resort in Spain for FREE!

  You'll Find Out How To:

   *  Go to expensive restaurants for 1/4 the price

   *  Wear a $2,000 dress for $50

   *  See Los Angeles plays and shows for free

   *  Go out for wine, food and entertainment - for free

   *  Get prescription drugs for less than with insurance

   *   Find money you didn't know you have

   *   Dine, shop and travel for next to nothing

There is a ton of valuable information in Anderson's breezy and fun style which adds up to a wonderful "how-to" book with a humorous flair.
