LOS ANGELES — The second of our four-part series of extensive overviews of the June 2018 ratings period addresses “public." stations whose primary focus is news/talk; we examined sports talk yesterday (Wednesday, 7/18).
Breakouts shown here consist of data from public news/talk facilities that rank in the top 20 (6+) in any PPM-market during the June 2018 sweep, which covered May 24 – June 20.
Over and above that particular ratings caveat, Nielsen Audio only releases audience estimates for stations that subscribe to its services. Thus, ratings stats in this analysis are limited to facilities that pay the company for its information.
