Family-Owned Independent Company Is A Rarity In The Industry

Founded in April, 1975, and now a leader in toxic gas detection instrumentation and related software, Interscan is known for its robust, accurate, and easy-to-maintain products, as well as its conscientious customer service.  Most notably with the introduction of its ethylene oxide, hydrazine, and formaldehyde analyzers in the 1980s, the company has established a reputation as the go-to vendor for the toughest applications.

Other achievements include Arc-Max®, still the industry's only SCADA-based, purpose-designed data acquisition, archiving, and reporting software package.  Noteworthy are specialized gas detection products for the pest control, agricultural, and dental fields. 

Long-term employee and manager of special projects Grant McClure takes a moment of reflection:  "25 years ago, we were in a different facility, our computerization was in its early stages, and we had fewer product offerings.  But, our philosophy of gas detection as a customer service oriented business predates even that era, and remains the same in 2015."

Interscan also boasts plenty of long-term customers, including NASA, dozens of public and private hospitals, and a virtual Who's Who of industrial titans and government agencies.
