Lexington, Kentucky, USA?The International Coach Federation has been awarded two APEX 2013 Awards of Excellence, recognizing excellence in publications work by the organization?s marketing and communications staff.

Now in its 25th year, the APEX Awards program is an international competition that recognizes outstanding publications from newsletters and magazines to annual reports, brochures and websites. APEX honorees are selected based on excellence in graphic design, quality of editorial content and overall communications effectiveness.

ICF Director of Brand Management Lindsay Bodkin and Brand Designer Stephanie Wright were recognized for their work on Coaching World, the ICF?s quarterly digital magazine. Coaching World received an APEX Award of Excellence for Most Improved Magazines and Journals.

Bodkin also received an APEX Award of Excellence in the Best Rewrite category for her revisions to a series of ICF fliers that promote professional coaching. These fliers are used by ICF Members, Chapters and staff worldwide in their marketing and communications initiatives.

?This recognition reflects the hard work of the ICF communications and marketing team and points to the high quality of the marketing materials that ICF Members and Chapters enjoy,? Bodkin said. ?Just as ICF coaches represent the best in the profession, we strive to create materials that are marked by excellence, which is what the APEX Awards are all about.?

?We are very proud that our staff?s efforts to make Coaching World magazine into a go-to digital resource for ICF Members were recognized with an APEX Award,? added ICF CEO and Executive Director Magdalena Mook. ?It is also an honor to earn recognition for our series of professional coaching fliers, particularly because these pieces are often used by ICF Members in their own marketing efforts. Winning an award for providing members with outstanding benefits is a dream come true for any association staff.?
