Taking on any new venture can create a lot of extra worry, and handling that worry so you can move forward is a big key to success. Comedian and keynote speaker Jan McInnis talks about a small gift that helped her handle her worries in a big way.

"I had a lot of worries when I was moving from my marketing job into comedy full time. I got a great gift that I still use that gift today. I think in today's world you have to use as many tools as you can to help yourself stay in the game mentally," McInnis said.

In her short weekly podcasts, McInnis kicks off with a joke, tells a short story, and then ends with a take-away tip of what she learned. Her podcast is titled "Comedian Stories: Tales From the Road in Under 5 Minutes," and it is produced every Thursday.
