LinkedIn has rolled out it's newly redesigned desktop experience. Some people love it, some people hate it. Do you wish you could go back to the old LinkedIn? Well, you can revert back to the old LinkedIn.. at least for now. Watch this step by step video to learn how to make this easy tweak:

I DO NOT recommend using this method to go back to what was comfortable and easy.Don't use this as a way to avoid the new design.

Instead, turn back LinkedIn temporarily to access the information that was available in the old design but is not available right now with the new interface.

For example, I post articles on LinkedIn and with the new interface, I can no longer see who has shared my article. Turning back LinkedIn temporarily to the old design allows me to see who is sharing my article so I can pop in and join their conversation.

The new interface doesn't allow me to see the number of viewers to my profile per day-- only the total number per 90 days. I will temporarily turn back LinkedIn to see my daily number as well as get an improved graphical view of my visitors and my activity level that potentially brought the viewers to my profile.

Here's the thing-- if it turns out the functionality I loved and miss is gone forever, I will deal with it and get over it. This new design, although lacking in some functionality and features of the earlier version, still provides me with a place to build and maintain my network, a platform to broadcast information, and a profile to professionally brand myself and tell my story.
