Being live on hundreds of radio shows is a learning experience for sure, and one that has helped her even today with her comedy says comedian and keynote speaker Jan McInnis. In her podcast this week, McInnis talks about what she learned from being a radio guest and why she enjoys it so much.

"I'm not sure I learned from every show, but there were lots of strange experiences. Like the time they booked me and my clean comedy at the same time they booked a guy talking about swingers. It was too funny," quips McInnis.

Her podcast is titled Comedian Stories: Tales From the Road in Under 5 Minutes. It's produced every Thursday and it kicks off with her clean, live comedy, then she tells a short story from the road, and it ends with a take-away tip of what she learned.
