The Citizens Association of Georgetown will host a community meeting on homelessness on Wednesday, Jan. 22, with a program, 7 to 8 p.m., and a reception at 6:30 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 1041 Wisconsin Ave. NW.

Guest speakers will be Lindsay Curtin of D.C. Council on Homelessness, Sean Read of Friendship Place and John Wiebenson of the Georgetown Business Improvement District.

Issues will include government policies and nonprofit efforts — as well as the situation in Georgetown and the future of its primary homeless service nonprofit, the Georgetown Ministry Center.

CAG asks participants, if possible, to “bring a new pair of warm gloves, hat or scarf to donate.”
