Letters of Hardship

Anyone in the position of needing to write a hardship letter can benefit from the newest additions to the website LetterOfHardship.net.

"There are now 243 hardship letter templates at the site, along with articles explaining how to write such a letter," said Kevin Savetz, who created LetterOfHardship.net in 2011. "Composing a hardship letter can feel overwhelming, especially in an already stressful situation. My goal with this site is to make it easier to find the right wording for a meaningful letter that gets results."

The new letter templates cover a rage of situations, but in most cases address financial hardships.

LetterOfHardship.net has a template for explaining a late mortgage payment as well as a health insurance letter regarding pre-existing conditions. There are also new variations on the letters relating to court fees. One letter replies to a neighbor cost-share request and another seeks accommodations for a library fine.

Other letters address school-related hardships such as the inability to afford school supplies or a class trip. There are also templates for requesting fee waivers for the ACT or GMAT or an MBA program application.

Each letter downloads instantly in DOC format so it can be typed into and edited using Microsoft Word. Or, users can simply cut and paste the text directly from the site.

"These templates are a good starting point when you need to explain a hardship, seek compassion and request special considerations," Savetz said.

LetterOfHardship.net is a sister site to other sites with letters, which include the apology letters at ApologyLetters.net, the resignation letters at ResignationLetters.biz, the cover letters at CoverLetterExamples.net, the complaint letters at ComplaintLetter.net, the recommendation letters at LettersOfRecommendation.net, and the letters of intent at LettersOfIntent.co.

There are more than 100 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
