Tom Brady and the Patriots came back from being 25 points down at the half in the Super Bowl. They went on to win in overtime. Every player on the field said later that they were confident they could come back and win if they each did their jobs.
Last Sunday, the Philadelphia 76ers were down to the Boston Celtics by 28 points in the third quarter of the deciding, 7th game of the playoffs. And they gave up. They simply stopped playing competitively and went through the motions. Yet there have been comebacks of 28 and even 31 points in the fourth quarter of  NBA games in the past. These players, the top seven of which make about $200 million combined annually, then went back to their multi-million dollar homes.
Like pornography, you want to put your hands over your young kids’ eyes so they don’t have to watch that.
