GKV announced that it was selected to create a public service campaign promoting Medicaid re-enrollment in Maryland to encourage 1.7 million enrollees to reapply to avoid losing benefits.

Developing the year-long public awareness and education campaign will require collaboration with a dozen partners, including the Maryland Managed Care Organization Association (MMCOA), which represents the nine managed care organizations (MCOs) that provide health care services to Marylanders receiving Medicaid; the Maryland Department of Health (MDH); and the Maryland Health Connection. The Medicaid Check-In campaign, recently announced by the Maryland Department of Health, is GKV’s first effort with partners to encourage Marylanders enrolled in Medicaid and MCHP to update their contact information and to generate awareness for the resumption of renewals.

“Our teams are dedicated to generating awareness about the Medicaid redetermination process and will help guide enrollees on how they can take action,” Andrew Robinson, GKV senior vice president and account director, who is managing the project. “We want to maintain a positive tone and help people feel empowered to complete the important task of renewing their coverage for themselves and their families.”

The C-360 Agency announced the hire of Kay Fenton as senior graphic designer. She joins the agency from Kapowza, where she was a graphic designer. Before transitioning to a career in graphic design, she studied painting at Maryland Institute College of Art and painted props professionally. She has worked with national brands, small businesses, start-ups, and non-profits. Her creative capabilities include branding, layout, web design, Adobe Creative Suite, illustration, HTML and CSS.

“Kay has an incredible capability to understand and process a client’s point of view and bring it to life in design, said Michael DeMos, CEO of C-360. “She understands how to stay on brand but push the limits to create stunning campaigns and collateral. We are proud to have Kay on our team.”
