Veggie Dome teams with nonprofit to link health to education-"Weather in a Dome" yields a great demonstration back to school for living snacks and studying words like precipitation, mist, transpiration, infiltration, and so many more that relate to studying STEM through observation and hands on data collection.

The Table top consumer device created by a dad who wanted to encourage children to eat vegetables…the VD debuted at this year's Book Expo in a drawing at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New Education Options booth. It drew a lot of attention. 

Who knew that the booth with a 15 year helium balloon anniversary would have such a magnetic glass giveaway as a "sticky attractor factor" for walk-bys and a method for teaching others to practice healthy habits.  New Education Options was touting "Some Die Trying" and the legacy role that the nonprofit has played in education with banners of other donors and organizations that have helped it bring play and praxis into student reading success.

Neo's Veggiedome promo is being followed by another fundraiser continuing until August 31^st for programs planned for 2017-2019 Academic Years at LAUSD Title 1 programs starting or continuing in District public schools for at-risk students in classrooms or childcare using the Music and Arts to build interest in school and their core studies.  Each VD Sale online that mentions KidsFirst or New Education Options will cover a class and supplies for one student for Neo or as designated help build a reserve to restart a scholarship fund for children whose parents are not eligible for CCRC help.

This begins an ongoing series of promotions that will help New Education Options build resources for Kids First scholarships for Plummer Elementary or Hamlin Charter Academy, or can be designated for music supplies, instruments and teacher support.

JW Pepper has a fundraising portal for NEO and  earned proceeds from this shop to give site will be used to anchor learning how to learn in young minds to help with District goals of full graduation.
