Actor Micah Lyons plays a bumbling bad guy in the family film, "How to Beat a Bully." The story revolves around a 12-year-old boy, Cory, who moves to a new school and is picked on by bullies.  To protect himself, he fibs and tells the bullies that his mild-mannered dad is actually a hit man for mob.  The rumor spreads through town, and soon makes its way to mobsters, including the hilarious Nick, played by Lyons.  Nick and his gangster cohorts capture the dad, and then Cory and his new bullies-turned-buddies have to save his dad and the day.

With bullying a major topic of conversation these days, many educators and psychologists agree that humor can be a positive way to connect with both children and adults on serious subjects.  "How to Beat a Bully" does just that. Whereas many stories of bullying are sad or distressing, this film gives smiles and laughs to children, tweens, teens and parents... while reminding them, "It's better to be friends then bullies." The 85-minute movie is recommended Family-Friendly by the Dove Foundation and won "Best Feature Film" at the L-Dub Film Festival.

The little indie family comedy stars a talented cast of kids and adults, and Micah Lyons is a triple threat who has gone on to other notable achievements.

On screen, Micah Lyons delivers tons of laughs as the not-too-clever crook, Nick Stone.  But off screen, he is proving himself to be a force of nature in Hollywood!  Not content to focus only on his considerable acting skills, Micah has been writing, directing, and developing film projects with his faith-based film company, Breath of Life Productions.

Since co-starring in "How to Beat a Bully" Micah has written and produced two films, "No Man's Land"and "The Runners" and he is developing a faith-based Western novel series that he plans to produce and sell to to a popular cable network.

Micah's passion for films that entertain and deal with sensitive subjects is what he is all about.  His big heart matches his ambition, and his desire to make a difference in the world is clear and admirable.

Keep an eye out for his credits as an actor, writer, producer, director, and Executive Producer.  And check out his humble (or should we say "bumble") delightful comedic performance in "How to Beat a Bully."
