The free printables websites PrintableToDoList.com and PrintablePlanners.net are helping people get and stay organized with to do lists and planners. Thanks to recent additions, there are now hundreds of printables from which to choose.
"Technology is great, but there's something about checking off tasks or recording thoughts and plans on a paper list that's especially satisfying," said Kevin Savetz, the sites' creator. "These sites meld tradition with modern-day convenience, as users can instantly download and print what they need."
PrintableToDoList.com offers a range of printables, from simple checklists to holiday lists.
The 24 new to do lists at the site include school assignment to do lists and coordinating teachers' to do lists. New checklists include a list with large color icons of daily activities, a "Do It" list and a "Done and Done" list. There are also new blank lists with multiple lists per page. Other new additions include colorful lists and a seven-day to do list. New specialty complex lists cover house hunting, moving, landscaping and specific projects.
At PrintablePlanners.net, there are now 658 planner pages, from simple daily planner refills for 10 different sizes of ringed planners to standalone journal pages.
The five- and 10-year journals are especially popular. Each page has a day of the year (Jan. 1, Jan. 2, and so on) with a few lines to write down what happened that day, each year for five or 10 years. The five- and 10-year journals are free to download and print in a PDF version you can write on after printing, or $4 for a DOC you can type directly into on your computer.
"The journals are a great way to look back at progress and events in your business or personal life," Savetz said. "I recently completed a five-year journal and enjoyed seeing what my family and I were up to in years past."
The planner refill pages at PrintablePlanners.net feature daily, weekly and monthly calendars as well as phone lists, grid pages and specialty note paper. The refills are free to print a page at a time, or $9 for the convenience of downloading an entire set at once.
