Signal Flags

Dozens of new printable flags, including sets of miniature flags, have been added to the website FreePrintableFlags.com. Each flag or set is free to download and print.

"These new additions bring the number of flags to 361," explained Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "There are state flags, regional flags and country flags. The flags are ideal for learning, décor or just for fun. When you click on the full-size flag link, you'll now have the option to print it as a mini flag as well."

The new mini flags are small versions of the most popular flags, and they print with several on each sheet. Site users can print four 3-by-5-inch flags per sheet or 16 mini flags per sheet. The tiny, 2-by-1.25-inch flags can be used for school projects or crafts. Adding a toothpick turns them into a cute decoration or cupcake topper.

The nations and places represented in the mini flag category include: United States, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Australia, Canada, France, Philippines, Greece, India, Brazil, South Africa, Wales, Mexico, Scotland, Argentina, Costa Rica, Denmark, England, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Singapore and Sweden.

FreePrintableFlags.com also has a quarantine flag in the signal flags category, which has printable flags for the International Code of Signals. The site also has NATO maritime flags.

The site has full-color and black-and-white outline flags for continents, states, territories and islands as well as labeled and unlabeled versions that are ideal for school settings.

It's easy to instantly print any flag, from U.S. state flags to flags from Africa, South America and island nations. There are even flags representing human rights causes.

"Remember, all of the flags at FreePrintableFlags.com are free to download and print," Savetz said. "They're in PDF format, so they're compatible with virtually every printer or mobile device that can communicate with a printer."

There are more than 100 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
