Funeral Planning and End-of-Life Preparations

While it's natural to want to put off planning for one's eventual death, doing so is a necessary part of life, especially for those who want to save their survivors time and additional heartache. With those factors in mind, DeathPlanner.net has joined the FreePrintable.net family of sites, complete with a printable death planner, checklists, forms and worksheets.

"DeathPlanner.net is a one-stop online resource that I'd envisioned for years, and I'm pleased to launch the site with a free option for each and every printable," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "It's so hard to plan a funeral and hunt down everything from legal documents to online passwords while simultaneously grieving the loss of someone close. These organizational forms can help."

The site has launched with 25 printable forms. The Final Directive planner has hole-punch placement indicated so it's easy to gather all of the information together in a binder. Along with forms for planning ahead, DeathPlanner.net also has resources for someone trying to organize after the death of a loved one.

The forms include: a list of people to notify, a final wishes planner, an assets worksheet, a contacts list, locations of valuables, designees and master checklists and to-do lists.

DeathPlanner.net has a program template, a service worksheet and a guest list for funeral services.

Official forms at the site include a will and advance directive as well as related templates for expressing one's wishes.

"Site users should be sure to consult an attorney when they need one," Savetz said. "Also, as I continue to add more forms to DeathPlanner.net, I look forward to incorporating ideas from people who have made use of the resource."

Everything at DeathPlanner.net is free to download one at a time in PDF or editable DOC form, so users can either write by hand or type into the resources before printing, using Microsoft Word or another compatible program. There's also the convenient option to download all of the forms at once as a Collection for $27.

There are more than 100 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
