Joyce Gioia is a consulting futurist and speaker who shares her findings in her weekly Herman Trend Alert

AUSTIN, TX – January 2018 – Joyce Gioia CEO of The Herman Group  & Vice Chairman of the Board for APF will be the guest speaker at Dr. Nilda Foresight Strategies Show (FSS) on January 27, 2018, at 11am EST. On the show, she will focus on some of the industries she has researched and why she is so passionate about her work.

The Dr. Nilda's Foresight Strategies Show is focused on teaching futures to the general public and business owners who want sustainable growth. Her guests are futurists from diverse backgrounds, many of which are members of the Association of Professional Futurists. These futurists share their competencies and how they practice futures to make forecasts.

FSS's motive is to promote an enthusiasm for futures consciousness and encourage non-futurists to stay alert and informed of trends, understand scenarios, and look to futurists to help them create foresight strategies to stay ahead of any potential competition and maintain sustainable growth.

Joyce Gioia has been a futurist for 30 years and CEO of the Herman Group for 11 years. Her dedication to continuous research on trends in various industries then sharing those findings through her weekly Herman Trend Alert exemplifies her goal to share her trend discoveries.

Joyce is also a founding board member of the APF and in January 2018 she was appointed Vice Chairman to support the work of the newly appointed APF Chairman Jay Gary Ph.D whose mission is to share "the gospel of futures".

In her role as APF Vice Chair, she has been charged with the assignment of increasing awareness and membership to expand the message of the APF, both to self-proclaimed professional futurists, as well as non-futurists who wish to know more about futures. In her new role, Gioia formed a task force to spread the futures message. Therefore, the interview with Dr. Nilda Foresight Strategies Show is one of the platforms where she addresses trendspotting and futures.
