Medicare Supplement Conference Convention 2019 Atlanta

The final program for the 2019 National Medicare Supplement Insurance Industry Summit was announced today by the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance, the conference organizer.

"With Medicare Supplement sales growing and changes coming next year, this will be the largest industry event to date," reports Jesse Slome, director of the Association.   Some 1,000 industry Medigap insurance professionals will be attending the national convention taking place June 5-7 at the Marriott Marquis in downtown Atlanta.

"The conference brings together industry leaders from various disciplines who want to network and share," Slome adds.  "The 2019 program consists of various sessions that  focus on legislative matters, underwriting, pricing issues as well as distribution, sales and of course technology."  According to Slome there will be nearly 100 experts speaking at the conference.

For the first time the Association director confirmed the organization will not film and make available sessions.  "In prior years we filmed conference sessions and made them available for viewing online," Slome confirmed.  "We will not be doing that this year so anyone interested will need to attend"  The organization does offer a no-cost option, a free day that is particularly designed for insurance agents and financial advisors.  The free day includes access to the Medicare Supplement and Senior Insurance exhibit hall.

The conference program can be accessed at www.medicaresupp.org/2019-conference-program / or by visiting the Association's website.

The American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance, the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance and the American Association for Critical Illness Insurance all advocate for the importance of planning and support insurance professionals nationwide.  Jesse Slome, founder and executive director of the organizations, is a leading consumer advocate and author of numerous consumer and professional guides focused on retirement and insurance planning that have been published by governmental agencies and private organizations.
