Send a Free Fax

FaxZero.com, the free internet fax solution, has surpassed 17 million faxes sent.

"It was less than a year ago that we hit 15 million faxes sent," said Kevin Savetz, who started FaxZero in 2006 and has been offering online fax resources since way before that. "I've been faxing online since the mid-1990s and it's still one of the most convenient ways to communicate. I've made sure that FaxZero is fast and secure. Clearly, the senders of 17 million faxes agree."

FaxZero is easy to use via desktop computer or smartphone and lets users send five free three-page faxes a day anywhere in the U.S. or Canada. More or longer faxes can be sent for $1.99 each (up to 25 pages with no daily limit). International fax service is also available at a low rate based on the country faxed. More than 180 nations can be reached via FaxZero.

Savetz attributes much of the uptick in faxing to what he's dubbed "the year of protest faxing," with 2,097,181 faxes sent in 2017, many of those destined for legislators in the U.S. House of Representatives or Senate.

"FaxZero makes it simple and free for constituents to make their voices heard by faxing Congress or faxing the Senate," Savetz explained. "It takes just a few clicks to find a local representative and type in or upload a message. FaxZero fills in the name and fax number automatically."

Besides ensuring that the list of legislators and their fax numbers is kept current, FaxZero also posts a list of "most-faxed" representatives each day, week or month. There's also a handy guide with tips such as: address your own local representatives, make sure your message is specific, and maintain a respectful tone.

"A fax is a good way to get attention, especially when times are tense and politicians' phone lines get overloaded or are even deliberately shut down," Savetz said.

FaxZero accepts documents in DOC (Microsoft Word) DOCx, PDF and other common file formats.

FaxZero has been featured in publications such as U.S. News and World Report, The Huffington Post, All You magazine and PC Magazine. FaxZero.com is part of Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
