As NABOE members, we are all intrepid thinkers and doers. Our August 10th gathering featuring speaker Asghar Mostafa was compelling in that it helped us think beyond our business today, to what it could look like tomorrow.
Mostafa’s experience in successfully building and selling his various businesses highlighted that if you have one great idea, there is likely another coming down the pike. The hunger of acquirers across all industries resonated with me, as I’ve recently sold the insurance benefits advisory I launched and then fostered for over 25 years. I had lots of options among acquirers, and was able to choose to join the company that was the best fit for me, and for the clients I served.
The NABOE Entrepreneur’s Journey series reinforces the drive to create, grow, sell and then reinvent that drives so many of us. It offers us the opportunity to know that while the path each of us walks to success may be different, as entrepreneurs we are bound by a common thread and supported by other innovators who will encourage us along our journey.
