If everyone in leadership positions in government, business, academia, non-profits, news media, and entertainment would stop looking for “blame” and start looking for causes to correct, we’d start solving our problems more quickly and inexpensively.
The problem with the “blame game” is that once we assign blame we think the job is done. But the problem persists until we find the real cause and remove it. Of course, that means people have to take accountability..
