FutureAI, an Artificial General Intelligence Research company, announced today the Universal Knowledge Store videos (set of 4), describing a critical new aspect of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). The Universal Knowledge Store receives and combines visual, auditory, touch and other sensory information.

AGI is the early-stage ability for computers to think and respond like humans across a broad spectrum of topics.  This encompasses systems with genuine understanding, necessary to allow them to apply intelligence to different application areas, the way all humans can.

The Universal Knowledge Store also incorporates learning algorithms so it can internally learn to associate words with objects and improve its behavior with experience—repeating behaviors which lead to positive outcomes and avoiding those that do not.

Also, the Universal Knowledge Store is implemented in the "Brain Simulator II" which is FutureAI's free, open-source platform for AGI experimentation. Brain Simulator II marries the fields of AI and neuroscience to advance the field.
