In the past, headshots were one of the biggest expenses in comedy and in entertainment. There was no camera phone or photoshop; you had to pay a photographer big bucks to catch just the right moment, and then you had to print up hundreds of headshots at once.

In today's podcast, comedian and keynote speaker Jan McInnis discusses her first experience with getting a headshot 25 years ago. And it was not a great experience. "I had no idea what a headshot was, and when I got mine taken, I didn't understand a critical issue that the photographer might have. As a result, I had a problem with my headshots," says McInnis

McInnis's podcast is produced every Thursday and is titled "Comedian Stories: Tales From the Road in Under 5 Minutes." She kicks it off with her clean comedy, then tells a short 3 minute story, and ends with a take-away tip of what she's learned.
