Asking Permission Podcast

Audience members bring cell phones and recording devices into live entertainment events all the time, but is it right? In her weekly podcast, Keynote Speaker and Clean Comedian Jan McInnis talks about her experience with asking permission to tape a comedian.

"I think we've gotten away from asking permission when we see a performer on stage, and instead just start taping them. I wish people would give a little more consideration to the fact that it is that performer's material and livelyhood," McInnis said.

McInnis's podcast Comedian Stories is published every Thursday. She kicks off with her clean comedy, then tells a short story, and ends with a take away tip. You can check it out here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/comedian-stories/id1446046198
