Coast to Coast Compounding, a Denver-based woman-owned compounding pharmacy focusing on pain management, hormonal health and general well-being, is pleased to announce the addition of Susan Davenport as a pharmacist and hormone specialist.

Dr. Wendi Medved, owner of Coast to Coast Compounding Pharmacy, founded the company in 2012 after earning her doctorate degree and working for over a decade in the medical community. She says,

"We are so fortunate to have Susan on our team. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge. As a hormone expert she brings a real understanding of how hormones affect our lives, especially for women as they proceed through the stages of menopause." 

Susan Davenport is a graduate of the University of Colorado, School of Pharmacy and is a licensed pharmacist with over four decades specializing in compounding pharmaceuticals.  She also has over 120 hours of continuing education in hormonal health for men and women, specifically in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). Davenport adds, "I want to empower men and women to make intelligent choices in their pursuit of wellness. I am pleased to be with a pharmacy where this is the focus.  Our hormones impact every part of our lives, beyond just menopause, to affect fertility, cholesterol, thyroid, weight, sleep, and general well-being. Hormonal health is my passion and I love being available to patients for consulting, education, and seminars."

Davenport is an advocate for the importance of the relationship between doctors, hormonal health patients and pharmacist. She is a long-time speaker on the topic of BHRT with her most recent appearance with Coast to Coast Compounding was at Vitamin Cottage Natural Grocers entitled "Who Put the Pause in Menopause". One of her favorite sayings is, "You aren't losing you mind... and I think we can help." She believes there is confusion surrounding natural and manufactured hormones, thus the communication between patient, doctor and pharmacist is more important than ever.
