This month, we will be sharing tidbits about work-life balance. We hope you enjoy all of our blog posts, Monday Motivators, and podcasts on the subject.

To enhance your work – life balance, sometimes it’s important to clear some things out of the way. Achieving life balance also means setting yourself up to enable yourself to give the proper priorities to the proper priorities!

So here are 2 balance-enabling practices:

Give up perfectionism. So many of my clients become stymied and delayed in their forward progress by having to be perfect, or having to have a perfect product, or having to handle each task “perfectly.” You can open yourself up for more satisfying work-life balance when you let go of a need to be perfect, and allow the imperfections that keep your life interesting.

Detach from electronica. That cell phone, iPad, laptop, etc., etc., etc. challenges your abilities to focus on other stuff that is truly important. Give yourself a maximum “digital budget” to make space for your work and your life. Digital deliveries aren’t your top priority, your life goals are.
