Just in time for back-to-school, Kevin Savetz of FreePrintable.net has added dozens of new, free classroom printables to TeachersPrintables.net and other school-friendly sites.
"As my own kids head off to a new grade, I'm adding even more printables to TeachersPrintables.net, which has nearly 1,300 grading sheets, lesson plans, graphic organizers, forms, seating charts, blank tests, and so on," Savetz said. "I've also added new writing prompts to FreeWritingPrompts.net."
All of the writing prompts are free to download and print, and there's a free option for each printable at TeachersPrintables.net. "Providing a free option for every printable is important to me because I know teachers, homeschooling parents and students not only have limited time but are usually on a budget," Savetz said.
The newest printables include "first day of school" signs with either a scroll design or a chalkboard look. They read "My first day of…" preschool, kindergarten, or a grade level. There are also two new report card designs, plus "excuse" and "makeup" homework forms. There are new behavior-related classroom management forms, including a progress report, a daily behavior report, and points-based trackers. The printables download instantly in DOC or PDF format.
Each item at TeachersPrintables.net is free to download and print one at a time. A convenient option is a classroom or whole-school license for the entire collection as an instant download; it's priced at $27 or $67.
There are now 117 free writing prompts at FreeWritingPrompts.net. "These prompts are designed to spark essays and other creative writing from young children all the way up through college level," Savetz said.
The newest prompts include historical fiction prompts, writing prompts based on quotations, and term or topic "list" prompts for middle school, high school and college. There's also a new writing prompt set with questions for an expository essay on bullying.
FreeWritingPrompts.net has persuasive writing topics, journal prompts and other creative inspiration. There are also comparative writing prompts on a variety of subjects, literature essay prompts, narrative prompts, holiday-themed prompts and more.
