Hall Passes

At back-to-school time or anytime, thousands of classroom printables are available for instant download at TeachersPrintables.net, PrintablePaper.net and other sites in the FreePrintable.net family of sites.

"There's a free option for each and every printable," said Kevin Savetz, the sites' creator. "Whether you're a student, teacher or parent, you'll find forms, worksheets, papers, templates and other items that will help you ease smoothly into a new school year."

Savetz launched TeachersPrintables.net in 2008 and it's grown to more than 1,400 classroom printables ranging from homework forms and grading tools to seating charts and lesson plan templates. The site also has graphic organizers, classroom management printables, parent communication forms, hall passes, blank tests, sign language charts, first day of school signs, stencils, library forms and more.

TeachersPrintables.net saves money as well as time, with each item free to download and print individually in PDF or editable DOC (Microsoft Word) form. Another option is to purchase a classroom or whole-school license (for $27 or $67, respectively) so educators can conveniently download the entire teachers printables collection at once for use in their schools over and over again.

InstantWorksheets.net offers 1,348 worksheets for preschool through college level. They are in PDF or DOC format and free to download one at a time. Or, download all of the worksheets at the site for $99. There's also a $4-per-month membership option with access to a tool to generate custom math tests and worksheets.

PrintablePaper.net has single sheets of lined paper, graph paper, dot paper, music paper, penmanship paper, 3D paper, comic templates and other specialty paper such as designs for people with low vision. With 1,827 printables at the site, PrintablePaper.net is ideal for last-minute paper needs at home or in school.

PrintableRulers.net has an array of rulers to print for free. At PrintableWorldMap.net, there are dozens of free continent, country, state, region and topical maps. FreePrintableFlags.com has hundreds of world flags, each absolutely free. There are printable certificates at FreePrintableCertificates.net that honor academic achievements and grade promotions while others are just for fun. The certificates are each free as a PDF or $5 for an editable DOC version. PrintablePlayMoney.net has free pretend money for math practice, games or to be used as "classroom currency."

PrintablePlanners.net has color-coordinated student planners as well as individual planner pages. PrintableToDoList.com offers nearly 300 simple and detailed checklists and to do lists, and PrintableSigns.net has 4,300-plus signs for schools, libraries and more.

"Knowing that teachers are on especially tight budgets, I'm pleased to be able to offer each of these printables with a free option," Savetz said.

There are more than 100 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
