A couple years ago, my daughter would come home from school and immediately complain about her friends teasing her. Apparently, even her teachers were mean.
I felt bad for her. I would search for words that would make her feel better. Nothing I said ever seemed to help. The next day would come and she would be pouty, whiny and sad all over again. Ugh…I was hopeless.
It was frustrating to watch my young, beautiful and smart daughter be so sad all the time. Have you ever experienced this with your child?
