As an insider at Apple, Kelli Richards drove music and entertainment initiatives during her many years with the company. That included playing a key role as ambassador for the company to the leaders in those industries, making sure that filmmakers and musicians were using Macs to create their work, armed with the equipment they needed when they were working on a film project or on tour, and capturing case studies from them to use in marketing campaigns. She was also responsible for creating the marketing campaigns, messaging, and sales materials to approach those audiences – to make sure they would become completely dependent on the Macintosh for their creative process. As the steward of the Apple brand with the music and entertainment industries, the authors of "ICONIC" (Jonathan Zufi and Forrest McMullin), saw Kelli as a unique contributor to offer insights and thoughts around Apple's brand, their development, and their products.

Kelli is a frequent speaker and panel moderator at industry conferences.
