This month I’ve been gathering feedback for three different executives that I am working with, so I have been talking to a lot of board members, investors, and executives. Some companies call these 360 degree feedback, but the biggest problem with these tick box exercises is people focus on numbers and ratings, not the actual feedback you want to give and receive, so the 360 degree just spins everyone into an endless state of data confusion and useless metrics and nothing changes.

That’s why when I launched my own company six years ago I used my research of completing over 2,000 executive feedback sessions over two decades in global companies to create the Context Sensitive Feedback approach that was far more powerful, useful, and creates immediate insights and change.

There’s one powerful question I ask, that can actually be used in any situation where you don’t feel like you are getting to the heart of the matter:

“But what do you really want to say?”

Try it today and I’d love to hear how it goes.

If you are interested in hearing more about the executive advisory services I offer, let me know and we can find time to talk. You can hear more from what my clients have to say about me here because it is better to hear it straight from them.

Dedicated to growing your business,

Val
