The website BusinessPlanTemplate.net has expanded its selection of business plan templates and related forms. Each is free to download, edit and print.
"These business plan templates are especially helpful for businesses that are in a state of transition, facing financial challenges and determining next steps," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "There are also several templates and forms appropriate for startups."
There are now 319 business plans and forms at the site, many of which can be of use to businesses facing financial challenges or seeking to pivot in their approach to serving customers.
Some of the just-added forms are designed to accompany a business plan, while others help a current or prospective business owner organize ideas. There's a Balanced Scorecard to serve as a visual chart for developing a business strategy, along with a direct marketing analysis form. Also new are: a check requisition form, a monthly bank reconciliation statement, a new hire checklist, a resume consideration checklist and a use case form for software and engineering projects. Plus, there's a printable scrum board and a version for groups who wish to visualize a project.
BusinessPlanTemplate.net also has new budget forms in XLS format for calculating costs in Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheets and other compatible programs. There's a 12-month budget forecast, a marketing budget, an operating budget, a flexible budget, a start-up budget and versions that allow for variances between predicted and actual figures.
In all, there are more than 100 sample business plans at BusinessPlanTemplate.net, including templates for general ventures, specific industries, or start-ups and expansions. One-page and fill-in-the-blanks business plans are available as well.
BusinessPlanTemplate.net also has articles with tips and advice on writing a business plan and presenting it to investors, plus related topics.
These free printables are available as editable DOC (Microsoft Word) files or, in some cases, in PDF or XLS format. To save time and get a robust collection of business forms by subject, site users can consider the $27 Budget, Sales, Inventory, Human Resources or other themed packs of printables.
