The website BusinessPlanTemplate.net has added even more free business plan templates to its ranks.
"These sample business plans are intended for anyone starting or expanding a business," explained Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "Just select the plan closest to what you need and edit the template to suit your situation."
The 27 new sample business plans include data collection plans, marketing expense worksheets and a variety of ledgers. There are worksheets for retail businesses, multi-level marketing and other ventures plus forms relating to cash flow, liabilities, risk assessment and brand messaging. Another new addition is a set of timelines for periods of months and years to track progress of a startup or other venture.
BusinessPlanTemplate.net offers dozens of business plan templates along with standalone forms that support the creation of such a plan.
The existing business plans include sample plans for specific industries as well as for startups. There are simple one-page business plans and a fill-in-the-blanks business plan.
"Whether you're seeking bank or investor financing, or just need to organize your thoughts, these business plan templates will give you a leg up," Savetz said. "BusinessPlanTemplate.net even has articles with tips on writing and presenting your plan."
All of the forms at BusinessPlanTemplate.net are free to download and print in DOC (Microsoft Word) or, in some cases, XLS form. They can then be opened and edited in Word, Excel or another compatible program.
