Geraint Evans, who was an advisor to now UK prime minister Boris Johnson, has joined Hill+Knowlton Strategies as strategy director of public affairs in London.
As advisor to Johnson, Evans was responsible for the "leveling up" campaign designed to call off Labour party voters in northern England and the Midlands with the promise of investment in those struggling regions.
Evans also served under Conservative party PMs David Cameron and Theresa May. He counseled them in the areas of infrastructure, transportation and energy.
Simon Whitehead, H+K UK CEO, said Evans' understanding of the inner workings of the government will guide clients as they work to help Britain tackle its need to modernize in the post-Brexit era.
