Being the designated driver is a nice thing to do, but sometimes you get taken advantage of! This is according to comedian and keynote speaker Jan McInnis. She says she learned this on several occasions when she showed up to the gig with a car, and the other comic needed a ride.

"I'm still happy to give rides, but now I put some limits on it," notes McInnis. In her podcast his week, she shares a couple of quick stories about getting and receiving rides.

McInnis's podcast is titled Comedian Stories: Tales From the Road in Under 5 Minutes. She kicks it off each Thursday with a clean joke from her live comedy show, then she tells a short 2-3 minute short story from the road, and she ends it with a take-away tip of what she learned from the story.
