Attract The Right Job Or Clientele: Change One Word

Long ago, at the first business event I attended, a speaker suggested that we only move forward with what complements our feeling of purpose and passion.  At the time, I was so business-driven, I thought that was nonsense.  But we all make errors, and if willing, we can change our ways, habits, and outcomes.

My Story:

Upon my introduction to social media, I knew I would never look backward.  It combined my love of travel with the ability to connect with people globally.  Moreover, I could research the individuals I want to communicate with within varying industries and disciplines no matter their location.  And so began my journey of inspiration and learning.

Slowly but surely, I changed significantly to the point where people in my earlier life might not recognize me.  The difference is in my quest to change one word.

Over time, I not only sought to connect with those from whom I could learn but those who give inklings of inspiration and hope to others.  I connect with those who attempt to do good in the world and encourage others to do the same.  An excellent example is my becoming active with the organization Inclusion Allies Coalition upon being asked.  They dedicate themselves to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Why would I devote some of my time to helping them grow their cause?

As a female in the corporate sales arena, I did not experience much diversity and it was a far cry from equity.  Inclusion – the men didn’t know how to spell the word.  I realized then that the first step is to change one word!

Being stubborn can be a gift. It takes dedication and willingness to continue down a road for which we have passion and feel the purpose. Accordingly, I fortuitously connected with Dennis Pitocco, BizCatalyst 360, on LinkedIn to learn from the motivation and inspiration he provides.

Today’s Blog Story centers on the Inspirational event hosted by Dennis Pitocco, The Bucketfest 360. It was filmed, produced, and uploaded to YourTube for you to watch at your convenience and take in the words of wisdom for potential change.

How much inspiration does he spread, and how does he do it?  The BucketFest 360 was created, produced, and uploaded to YouTube – so you can see for yourself!  The inspiration and brilliance shared may very well help point you to a better tomorrow as you begin to conjure up ideas for improvement.

Dennis Pitocco reveals, “Many people often say they want to travel somewhere, accomplish some feat, or desire to improve themselves. Despite the quest, after months of development after voicing just one question across the globe, we proudly announce the world premiere of BUCKETFEST 360° — our second “for good” streaming production. The theme is:

1 World. 1 Question. 150+ Answers. 18 Countries. 20+ Performances. 7 Hours. 7 Episodes.And BUCKETFULS of wisdom shared ….”

“Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity.”
—Pema Chodron

Let’s Choose Humanity

“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” —Albert Einstein

Connecting with like minds, the phrase Pitocco uses is ‘Let’s Choose Humanity.’ And you may be wondering what is the one word Stutz wants to change in the dictionary?

“I would like to change one word in the dictionary:
Replace ‘Mankind’
with ‘Humankind.’

We each have our goals and dreams to achieve. But when we are respectful and encourage one another to continue, attainment happens exponentially. Better yet, those involved and helpful with one another see gains. It’s almost as if a magic wand waives over those striving to help one another as business and goodwill lift off. More people can and will succeed.  To my surprise, I received the following award for participating in the Bucketfest 360:

Confirmation of passion and mission.

Bucketfest Award

The underlying benefit is that by experiencing humanity and learning from one another, we can all work together to improve the social environment, economy, and planet, too.

The first step is to replace the one word with ‘humanity’ and then concentrate on the effort it takes to turn things around for the benefit of many.

Sales Tips:  Are You Ready To Change One Word?

  1. Replace the word Mankind with Humankind.
  2. Practice being kind to all humans as a daily habit.

Your Story: Are You Willing To Change?

Take time to reconcile whether you view work as a ‘have to’ effort or if you look forward to what can occur each day. An honest answer will keep you on a better path. Without the motivational factors by your side, it isn’t easy to find enthusiasm for your work.

Aligning with your goals will increase your motivation to continue learning, altering what’s currently in place. Come to an agreement with yourself about what you are willing to change. As an idea repeats itself, it may be time to give it due consideration from multiple angles. Being willing to change enables you to achieve your goals first, and then, much more!

Should it appear viable, review current goals, and reset the ones no longer valid. Hopefully, the first effort revealing you are willing to change will induce frequent alterations as time moves forward.
