APTA's EXPO 2017 Showcases the Future of Public Transportation in Atlanta

Highlighting Latest Trends and Technologies in Public Transit

The American Public Transportation Association's (APTA) Annual Meeting & EXPO 2017 – the largest public transportation expo in the world – will feature the latest innovative technologies and services that enhance passengers' experiences and enable public transit systems to operate more efficiently. Global leaders in public transit will gather for general sessions and educational session on a wide range of topics including emergency preparedness and disaster relief, security, safety, federal funding, public-private partnerships, workforce development, and shared mobility.

Registered media have free access to both the EXPO show floor and Annual Meeting sessions.

Why:               Public Transit is Crucial to our Nation's Future. U.S. DOT Secretary Chao on Wednesday, October 11. Secretary Chao to deliver remarks discussing the administration's priorities for the future of public transportation.
