I have told each and every client of mine (and anybody else who cared to listen) that social media is overestimated in election campaigns. So, it does not mean all that much to me but I have recently connected with my 14’000th contact on LinkedIn. Many of them are politicians, journalists or other politicos. According to LinkedIn itself, my profile is among the top 15% of my industry (and I assume there are some real cracks in my industry). I’m posting regularly all my media appearances as well as campaign takeaways in three languages. Let’s link if we haven’t done so far.
