What is Memorial Day?

Memorial Day is a day for honoring and paying respects to the men and women who have died while on duty with the US military.

My dad was a marine for 5 years during WWII. He always had the highest regard for the men and women in the service who put their lives at risk to protect us. After 5 years of Pacific Islands conflict, my dad understood that all too well and instilled his respect for the men and women who serve in me.

I wrote this musical score and put it to a video backdrop to honor those men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. Music by Mache Seibel, Ewe Steinmetz on alto sax, Ben Schwendener on Piano, Bridget Kearney on bass and Michael Calabrese on drums. It’s called Remember the Fallen.
