Juneteenth: A Celebration of African-American History

NOTE: Some online resources have the location of Burial Hill incorectly listed as Lincoln St.  Burial Hill is located between School Street and Church St., off Leyden St.  

Take in a fascinating tour - led by a recognized expert - in a beautiful place...for free! Juneteenth is the oldest holiday commemorating the end of slavery and birth of freedom for African Americans after the Civil War.   Come celebrate the day by learning the stories, challenges, and accomplishments of some of the extraordinary individuals who have made up Plymouth's tiny black population.

This guided walking tour with Dr. Donna Curtin, Executive Director of Pilgrim Hall Museum, will begin at 1 pm at the top of the Hill. 

Free and open to the public. 

This is a collaborative program presented by Pilgrim Hall Museum in partnership with the Plymouth Antiquarian Society.

Marilee is also a keynote speaker, author and entrepreneur.  She is the president-elect of the New England Chapter of the National Speakers' Association.  The Marilee Driscoll Company provides strategic planning for business owners, as well as ongoing help, tools, tactics and systems to help them accomplish their goals. 

Driscoll's businesses include BIZclub, a highly-effective program of monthly group teleconference calls and one-on-one coaching calls for business owners and aspiring business owners.  Her newest business is Things To Do In Plymouth MA, where she provides an events calendar to help residents and visitors more easily find what's going on in her hometown.
