A nationally acclaimed child safety and health expert and an award-winning parenting author, Debra is a respected consultant and spokesperson for high quality products and services that support children, motherhood, families, and a healthy living lifestyle. She has a law degree, an M.A. in occupational health and safety, a B.A. in communications, and is the proud mother of two children.
Debra was the Honorary Co-Chair of the Florida Safe Kids Coalition and teaches infant and toddler safety, and CPR at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. She is a certified child passenger safety technician and an American Heart BLS CPR/AED instructor.
Debra served as a Subject Matter Expert for American Red Cross, Advanced Child Care Online-Training Course and Handbook (StayWell Publishing). She also served as a Subject Matter Expert in the development of the most recent version of the American Red Cross' Babysitting Basics course (released in April, 2013).
