The purpose of the Yearbook and the Sites is to provide, among other things, news releases, contact information, and to provide a way for journalists to directly contact those who have placed information in the Yearbook or on one of the Sites for further details about such information. Journalists who wish to use information found in the Yearbook or on one of the Sites should e-mail or phone the contact person listed in the applicable news release, listing or advertisement to secure permission to use information about the news release, listing or advertisement. The individual responsible for providing the news release, listing or advertisement in either the Yearbook or on one of the Sites can best provide the user with complete details about the information contained in the news release, listing or advertisement. 

If you submit materials for publication in the Yearbook or use (such as by reading or posting information on) any of the Sites, you are using Broadcast Interview Sources services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Services. Over time, we may make changes to the terms of this agreement thereby altering the terms and conditions governing the use of the Services. For users of the Yearbook, the version of this agreement that is posted on this website on the date you sign the advertiser agreement will govern your submission of materials for publication in the Yearbook. For users of the Sites, if we make any changes affecting the use of the Sites, we will notify you by posting the item prominently on this webpage and/or on one or all of the Sites. If you continue to use the Sites after a change has been posted, you agree to conform your use of the Sites to that change. When submitting materials for publication in the Yearbook or using any one of the Sites, please act responsibly and be respectful of other users and contributors. Some of the material that may be published in the Yearbook and posted on the Sites is protected by copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual property laws. Therefore, you may not copy, transmit, distribute (including by e-mail or other electronic means), sell, make changes or otherwise reproduce any materials from the Yearbook or the Sites without the prior consent of the owner. However, you can make photocopies of small portions of the Yearbook and print or download information from the Sites as long as you only use that information for your own personal, non-commercial use. 

Whether you are submitting material for publication in the Yearbook or on one of our Sites, you represent and warrant that such material (i) is true and accurate at the time of your submission; and (ii) does not and shall not violate or infringe any common law or statutory right of any person or other entity including, without limitation, any contractual rights, proprietary rights, trademark, service mark, copyright or patent rights, or any rights of privacy or publicity, and that such material is not threatening or libelous, does not violate any law or regulation, and does not contain any instructions, recipes or formulas that, if implemented, would result in injury. In addition, by submitting a news release for display on one of our Sites, you represent and warrant that you have the right and authority to distribute the news release on behalf of the person or entity about whom the news release relates. 

In addition, when registering to use any of our Sites or using a password in connection with one of our Sites, we ask that you do not use a false user name or identity or let others use your user name and password. Each person is responsible for the actions that are taken under his or her user name and password. We retain the right to deny access to our Sites to anyone who we believe has violated these terms or any other term of this agreement. 

We do not review, endorse, or investigate the advertising in the Yearbook or the news release listings or other listings that are posted or included on the Sites and, thus, we cannot promise the information contained in the advertising, postings or listings is reliable or accurate or that the information does not infringe or violate any laws. We also cannot guarantee that the files or information that you may download from the Sites do not have harmful features, such as viruses. If you download any materials from any of the Sites or rely solely on the information in the Yearbook or the Sites, you do so at your own risk. 

We reserve the right (but assume no obligation) to delete, move, or edit any advertisements and postings in the Yearbook and on the Sites that come to our attention that we consider unacceptable or inappropriate, whether for legal, or other reasons. 

We also realize that you may find certain postings on the Sites to be objectionable or offensive. If you object to postings about a given participant, the soon-to-be-implemented BLOCK feature found in the menu of our Sites will allow you to prevent future postings about that participant from being shown to you when you visit any of our Sites. 

In addition, when you submit material (such as a news release or expert profile) to the Yearbook or the Sites, you are permanently granting us all rights to the material, including the right to reproduce and publish the material in the Yearbook and/or on the Sites (whichever is applicable), to modify the material, to use it commercially, and to maintain the material in an archive in any medium. 

Without the prior written permission of Broadcast Interview Source, Inc., you may not frame any of the content on the Sites, or incorporate into another website or other service any intellectual property of the Yearbook or Sites.
