Annette Hottenstein is a Baltimore-based registered dietitian specializing in weight loss, wellness presentations, chronic disease prevention and corporate wellness. Prior to forming her consulting company, Annette worked for 15 years as a scientist specializing in the sensory properties of foods and beverages. As a trained focus group moderator, she has conducted over 150 groups for the largest players in the food industry. She volunteers her time and talents to the Maryland office of the American Diabetes Association and has authored several publications in leading professional journals such as Appetite, Food Quality and Preference and the Journal of Sensory Studies.
