The National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) serves as the voice of
America's pork producers. It is a primary contractor to the
National Pork Board and carries out producer checkoff-funded
programming in the areas of promotion, research, producer
education and consumer information. NPPC's goal is to maintain a
strong and viable pork industry. It is headquartered in Des
Moines, Iowa. Trade and public policy issues are carried out by
its Washington, DC office.
